What is Transculture Training?

Transculture training is about teaching individuals the essential practical know-how and the skills to work, do business, network and socialize with culturally-diverse people anywhere, internationally and domestically. It is quite different from the often provided general briefings on social and international business etiquette and customs.

Transculture training mitigates experiencing culture shock, perplexity, frustration, anxiety and stress when faced with unforeseen and unfamiliar work or business circumstances stemming from differences in cultural norms, customs, behaviour, attitude, values, priorities, work styles, business practices, management expectations, teamwork dynamics and personal sensitivities.

To work and do business multiculturally, domestic and international organizations' employees must understand, appreciate, respect, adjust, and conform with the local work and business practices within the context of differences in cultures, interpersonal dynamics and sensitivities.

Following transculture training, which include experiential workshops, training recipients will be empowered with the essential practical knowledge, the skills, work-related role-play practice exercises, and as a result, they will have greater confidence to work and do business more intuitively and productively with culturally-diverse colleagues, clients, partners and suppliers.
